Feather began as one of Korboose founder April Nemeth’s original hand-drawn designs. When April returned to the runner, she revisited every material decision. She sourced and compared a wide range of linens before selecting a more substantial cloth made from Belgian flax for its weight and structure.
The linen has more body, gives the screen-printed lines greater clarity, and keeps its shape across the table. The finished runner has a distinctly architectural presence.
The Feather design is printed in defined placements rather than as an allover pattern, leaving open linen around each print. The Korboose cut-and-sew team measures and cuts every runner individually to center the design before hemming, finishing, and labeling.
