Named for the Kinsa Cocha lakes near Pisac, Peru, this throw quilt was conceived after Little Korboose founder April Nemeth and Vacilando Studios founder Laura Preston traveled together through the Sacred Valley on a Juniper & Stone retreat.
Founded by April in 2018, Juniper & Stone creates immersive wellness retreats rooted in place, culture and considered experience.
The quilt’s geometric composition reflects the landscape and forms encountered during that journey. It is made from screen-printed natural cotton production scraps retained after Little Korboose products are cut and sewn, combined with black Kona cotton.
By returning these remnants to product development, the Kinsa Cocha Throw Quilt extends the useful life of textiles already printed and in circulation while transforming them into a functional, enduring piece.
