Hand Woven Natural Cotton Rag Rug

At Little Korboose, printed organic cotton offcuts are retained after our primary textile products are cut and sewn. Rather than sending those production scraps to landfill, we return them to the design process.

For this collaboration, Little Korboose partnered with textile artist Rachel Ehlin-Smith of Mr. Blue Skye to transform the retained scraps into handwoven rugs. The finished rug extends the useful life of material already purchased, printed and in circulation while preserving the pattern and color of earlier Little Korboose textiles.
