For their fifth creative collaboration, Laura of Vacilando Studios and April of Little Korboose joined forces to co-design a pair of no-waste quilted chore coats that incorporate Little Korboose’s fabric scraps with luxe 100% linen.

Inspired by the simplicity and minimalism of Little Korboose’s Rainbow Roads design, the Rainbow Roads Chore Coat is made of pieced and quilted linen and screen printed organic cotton sandwiching a breathable bamboo batting. Lined with a variety of Little Korboose patterns, each coat is unique and one of a kind.

Designed with the classic chore coat in mind and made to suit any gender, the Rainbow Roads Chore Coat features a button front, three pockets, and a wide collar. Its functionality and versatility make it the most wearable and cozy work of art.

MATERIALS
Outer: Black 100% linen and Little Korboose screen printed organic cotton flour sack
Lining: Little Korboose screen printed organic cotton flour sack
Inner: Lightweight bamboo cotton batting
Buttons: Black corozo
Fabric is prewashed for softness and to minimize shrinkage

PROCESS
Made to order just for you with a 4 - 6 week production time
Machine pieced, quilted, assembled and hand finished by our seamstresses in Florida and Washington D.C.
Fully lined with all seams enclosed using durable, quality methods like Hong Kong finish seams

CARE
Machine wash delicate in cold water with a gentle detergent. Tumble dry low or lay flat to dry. Press on low with steam to remove any wrinkles, but don’t place iron directly on screen printed fabric - use a pressing cloth or press from the opposite site. Fabric will crinkle slightly after the first wash and will soften with use and wear.
